Bermulanya Semester ke-2
Alhamdulillah.
Sekarang, Alhamdulillah. So far, bolehlah. =)
Sekian, sedikit update ketika kemalasan melanda diri. Amin.

7 Powerful Tips to Overcome Failure
By Donald Latumahina, November 7, 2007
You always pass failure on the way to success.
Mickey Rooney
Failure is inevitable if we are to succeed in life. Unfortunately, many people do not know how to overcome failure, and they are stopped by it when they encounter one. The ability to overcome failure is one big difference between successful and mediocre people. After all, we should pass failure on the way to success, so it is the ability to pass it that makes the difference between those who eventually reach success and those who don’t.
[Overcoming failure] So, knowing that overcoming failure is essential, what should we do? Here are some tips to help you overcome failure:
1. Rise up and don’t regret; you have spent your time wisely
A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.
George Bernard Shaw
When we fail, we might be tempted to think that we have wasted our time and thus regret it. But that’s should not be the case. The fact that you have done something is much better than doing nothing. Many people who despise persons who fail never do anything themselves. Rise up and move on. The regret lies not in doing, but in not doing.
2. Understand that failure is there to bring you wisdom
Good people are good because they’ve come to wisdom through failure.
William Saroyan
Failure is there not without a reason. It’s there to give you the wisdom you need to succeed. Each failure you encounter increases your wisdom and brings you one step closer to success. If you have this mindset, you will see failure differently. You will see each failure as an opportunity to learn.
3. Learn as much as possible from the failure
Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.
Albert Einstein
While failure brings you wisdom, how much wisdom you will get depends entirely on your ability to harvest it. So don’t waste the opportunity to learn; harvest wisdom as much as possible from the failure. If you fail to do this, you may waste a lot of time by repeating the same mistakes in the future.
4. Don’t give up; maybe you are only one step away from success
Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.
Thomas A. Edison
The thought of giving up is tempting, especially when we have failed over and over again. But who knows that maybe you are only one step away from success? Will you waste the long journey you have passed when you are already so close to your destination?
So hold on tight and don’t give up. Thomas Edison failed thousands of times to perfect the light bulb. He knew what it means not to give up.
5. Maintain your enthusiasm
Not only you should keep on trying, you should also do it with the same level of enthusiasm as when you first began. Otherwise your subsequent effort will have less and less power.
So how do you maintain enthusiasm? One good way is by realizing that you are now one step closer to success thanks to the lessons you learn. There’s no reason not to be enthusiastic when you are getting closer to success. Another way is to keep your mind on the destination, which brings us to the next point.
6. Keep dreaming big dreams
Always have your destination in mind; keep dreaming your big dreams. Spend time to visualize them and let the dreams energize you. Let them make you passionate and enthusiastic. Once you cease dreaming, soon you will also lose your energy and be back to mediocrity. To overcome all the obstacles you encounter you always need a greater why, and that why is provided by your dreams.
7. Keep your confidence in yourself
Don’t be afraid of the space between your dreams and reality. If you can dream it, you can make it so.
Belva Davis
Keep your confidence in yourself despite the failure. Of course, you need to put a lot of effort and learn as much as possible from the failure, but you have the ability to make your dream come true. Many people who achieve great undertakings have no special trait. They are just ordinary people with extraordinary attitude. Let’s be one of them.

An amazing man
1.He bought his first share at age 11 and he now regrets that he started too late! Things were very cheap that time Encourage your children to invest
2.He bought a small farm at age 14 with savings from delivering newspapers. One could have bought many things with little savings Encourage your children to start some kind of business.
3.He still lives in the same small 3-bedroom house in mid-town Omaha , that he bought after he got married 50 years ago. He says that he has everything he needs in that house. His house does not have a wall or a fence. Don't buy more than what you "really need" and encourage your children to do and think the same .
4.He drives his own car everywhere and does not have a driver or security people around him. You are what you are
5.He never travels by private jet, although he owns the world's largest private jet company. Always think how you can accomplish things economically
6.His company, Berkshire Hathaway, owns 63 companies. He writes only one letter each year to the CEOs of these companies, giving them goals for the year. He never holds meetings or calls them on a regular basis. Assign the right people to the right jobs BA
7.He has given his CEO's only two rules.
Rule number 1: do not lose any of your share holder's money.
Rule number 2: Do not forget rule number 1. Set goals and make sure people focus on them.
8.He does not socialize with the high society crowd. His past time after he gets home is to make himself some pop corn and watch Television. Don't try to show off, just be your self and do what you enjoy doing
9.He does not carry a cell phone, nor has a computer on his desk.
10.Bill Gates, the world's richest man met him for the first time only 5 years ago. Bill Gates did not think he had anything in common with him. So he had scheduled his meeting only for half hour. But when Gates met him, the meeting lasted for ten hours and Bill Gates became a devotee of him.
His advice to young people: "Stay away from credit cards (bank loans) and invest in yourself and Remember:
A. Money doesn't create man but it is the man who created money.
B. Live your life as simple as you are.
C. Don't do what others say, just listen them, but do what you feel good.
A. Don't go on brand name; just wear those things in which you feel comfortable.
B. Don't waste your money on unnecessary things; just spend on them who really in need rather.
C. After all it's your life then why give chance to others to rule our life."

Kepuasan yang tidak terhingga
Assalamualaikum
Alhamdulillah.
"Baguslah, kalau tak mahu duduk umah goyang kaki"
Apa-apapun, tajuk interview session bukan tujuan utama penulisan ini. Mungkin yang akan datang? InsyaAllah.
FIELD TRIP NINGHAN FOLDBELT 2008
"hahaha. macam tulis karangan sekolah rendah plak.=p"
"okk. keep it simple and informal. perghhh. penat gila seyh. mentally and physically. adeh. kitorang kena map an area yang berkeluasan 5 x 10 km. kalau area itu mendatar takpe. ini kalau dah berbukit-bukit. sampai dah ada taraf gunung dah. dengan berjalan atas batu-batu kecil bersaiz 2 penumbuk sampailah yang besar sebuah kereta. memang best!"(Pengirim dirahsiakan identiti atas sebab-sebab keselamatan)
Memang.
"Get back there you guys!it's not 5 pm yet!"
Chris Herford
Kami memberi gelaran "the real Geologist".
Lachan Nally
Diberi gelaran lucky (taktau pasal apa). Seorang yang happy go lucky (mungkin sebab ini?). Ketawa bagai nak rak. Sampaikan bila dia buat lawak, saya ketawa terbahak-bahak bukan kerana lawaknya, tetapi lebih kepada ketawanya. Sangat open-minded. Kuat travelling.
Sambung semula, selepas pulang daripada field work.
Pada hari terakhir, kami duduk dari pukul 12 at noon sampailah 10 at night (Due time).
To Ikhwan : Baru aku tau perasaan ko time kejang kaki.
Time ini, janganlah dok kacau-kacau kitorang. Suma tengah khusyuk+tension buat kerja. Sampaikan keadaan dinner (kali ini disediakan oleh lecturers memandangkan kitorang sibuk buat kerja) untuk batch pertama (11 orang), alahaiii, berapa orang je pergi pada mulanya. sampai lecturer kira pun
1.....2........3......4.....5......6............7......8.....eh 7 again (time ini orang yang nak gi dinner untuk batch pertama patah balik)
Kalau tak. tak sampai 15 saat meja suma dah kosong.
Ada satu lagi kisah. Ketika dalam pukul 2 pm. Semua orang budget boleh siap awal (konon). Then terdengar salah seorang berkata,
"lets bet who's going to finish it first before 6 pm"
"Ok now, change of plan, lets bet who's going to finish it first before 10 pm"
Then balas lucky,
"I reckon we should bet who's going to finish it on time mate"
hahaha. riuh workplace ketika itu.
Masing-masing sibuk dengan kerja masing-masing. Setiap group berbincang antara satu sama lain. Keadaan sangat busy dan tegang tetapi masih terkawal. Saya pun tidak terkecuali. Perasaan tidak menentu. Sibuk memikirkan kerja-kerja yang patut disiapkan.
Tepat pukul 10 pm, semua kerja-kerja telah dihantar.
ALHAMDULILLAH.
"How are you this morning azizul?"
"Fine. Thanks. A bit tired and I'm going to sleep well tonight and tomorrow for the whole day!!"
Dipendekkan cerita. Dalam pukul 1.30 pm. Bus yang membawa budak-budak 2nd trip pun tiba. Kami sempat berborak dengan budak-budak 2nd trip.
"This place will definitely make you fall in love with Geology"
"Expect the worst mate!"
"It was 'enjoyable'!!"
"Watch out for ooids and stromatolites, lol"
"Careful when walking"
"Please don't return to Perth as a dead body"
Alhamdulillah.
Salam gembira
Kenangan bersama. Ninghan Field Trip 08
